Adrian Serna for Conshohocken Borough Council 2nd Ward
I want to keep Conshohocken an amazing place to live, visit, and do business.
My Priorities for Conshohocken
Promises Kept
Here are a few accomplishments from my time as your representative for Ward 2:
More family-friendly activities to Ward 2 and the Borough
Movies in the Park at Aubrey Collins Park
Pep Rallies on Fayette Street for the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers
Brought back and increased activities at the Community Center at the Fellowship House
FunFest becoming record-breaking in vendors and attendance year-over-year
And, in 2025, a celebration for Conshohocken’s 175th Anniversary
Enhanced the borough’s environmental focus
Increased the number of protected open spaces
Installing 3 pocket parks along Fayette Street to provide rest areas for pedestrians
Established the Environmental Advisory Council’s annual GreenFest that promotes positive environmental practices residents can do at home
Conducted the borough’s first (but not last) Schuylkill River clean-up
Brought back borough-wide community trash clean-ups
Reducing trash collection to once per week
Classifying the Conshohocken Community Garden as protected open space so that it will forever remain a part of the community
Partnering with UPenn to conduct a Greenhouse Gas Assessment at no charge to the borough
Infrastructure improvements
Rezoning the flood zone to no longer allow the building of new residences
Pedestrian safety and accessibility with more accessible crosswalks, flashing crosswalks along Fayette Street, and a live speed reader on East Elm Street in front of Aubry Collins Park to slow down vehicles
Purchasing vehicles, machines, and equipment that enable the borough authority to perform more work internally and more efficiently instead of outsourcing to a contractor
Maintaining and improving our amazing services
Responsive, fast, and professional emergency services
A community-oriented police force
Providing career opportunities for public services
And maintained a balanced, transparent budget with NO raises in borough taxes
Continue Modernizing Constituent Services
Our borough’s communication methods have improved greatly since my start on council. We have made it easier to attend public meetings for those wanting to get involved in their community.
A Sustainable Community
I want a green and sustainable future for Conshohocken. I support our move to 100% sustainable energy by 2035, increased tree planting throughout the borough, creating more green community spaces, and the ability to walk along our riverfront.
More Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Improvements
I walk with my son and dog every day throughout Ward 2. To make it safer for pedestrians of all abilities to move safely across the borough. We’ve added more accessible crosswalks, flashing pedestrian crossings on Fayette Street, and speed feedback signs to slow traffic in front of Aubrey Collins Park.
And, I will continue to work with the Mayor’s Office and Conshohocken Police Department to ensure they have the resources and support they need to make our borough safe for all of our neighbors.
Small Business Support
Conshohocken has had a miraculous rebound from the pandemic and is more active than ever. I helped adopt a new downtown overlay ordinance, to bring more small businesses to Fayette Street so that our borough’s economy continues to thrive. I want to continue bringing amazing events like pep rallies for the Eagles and Phillies, the Flyers Alumni Week, FunFest, and the Mayor’s Arts and Car Show that bring new patrons to our wonderful restaurants and local businesses.
